What is the meaning of the furniture term Loose Seat?

The term loose seat in furniture refers to a type of seating construction where the seat cushion is not permanently attached to the frame of the furniture piece. Instead, the cushion is removable, allowing for easy maintenance and cleaning. Loose seat cushions are often found in sofas, chairs, and some types of seating arrangements.
